    Red - Martyr
    Green - Ordinary Time
    Purple/Violent - Advent

    White - symbolizing rejoicing - Christmas

    Red - red symbolizes the shedding of blood - Good Friday

    Green - Ordinary Time -

    Purple/Violet - Advent -

    Red and Green – The rest of the year
