St. Francis of Assisi lived for a mere 45 years but achieved so much in a short time. He is the Saint of the Environment. He considered birds and animals as his brothers and sisters. He called the Sun brother and the moon sister. He saw God in all of creation. 

We are called to care for the environment and our world which is given to us in trust.
