The Immaculate Heart of Mary - Will you attempt to be as responsive as Mary was?

The Feast of the Immaculate heart of Mary is on the day following that of the Sacred Heart and rightly so. It was Mary's "let it be done to me" that gave the world Jesus. The Feast celebrates the responsive heart of Mary through which God was able to work the plan of salvation for the whole of humankind.
The Gospel text for the feast narrates the only incident in the youth of Jesus and has often been termed as "The Finding in the Temple" by which is meant the finding of Jesus in the Temple. However, as Jesus explicates, he was never lost. It was his mother and foster father who were lost without him. Jesus always knew where he had to be: in his Father's house and about his Father's business.
Mary knew that she would not be able to fully comprehend Jesus' response and thus "treasured these things and pondered them in her heart". She knew when she had to let her son go. Since her heart was full of the love of God and not self, she could let Jesus do what he had to do.
