The New Academic Year 2010-11 has begun well. We have a new Principal in St. Xavier's High School, Fort, and she is Mrs. Jennifer Dias. She is vibrant, optimistic and filled with the Jesuit spirit of the Magis. She wants to take Xaviers to new heights. The staff have responded well to this change and they are offering all co-operation to her.

ReplyDeleteI doubt you will remember me but that's perfectly ok. I've been fortunate to meet you in St. Xaviers College when you were with the Commerce section and in charge of the Fell Gym. I am from the Arts stream and I once helped with the college sports day announcements.
I also heard you say Mass at Holy Family Hospital, Bandra on the day that I was due in for surgery. The day was 14th April, my father's birthday. I don't remember the year. It might have been 1998. It seems a long time ago but your homily was so thought provoking the morning of my surgery that it stayed with me on that nervous day:)
Many years later, I heard you preach at Dubai's St. Mary Church. Did try to meet you but thanks to the crowd (and a brand new baby boy in my arms), I was unable to find you.
