Name
one occasion/season when vestments of the following colours are worn by the
Priest celebrating the Eucharist:
White:
during the Easter and Christmas seasons; on the feasts of Our Lord, of our Lady and of all the Saints who
are not martyrs. It is also used at times for Masses for the dead.
Red: On Palm Sunday,
Good Friday, Pentecost and on the feast of Apostles, Evangelists and Martyrs.
Green: during the ordinary weeks of the year.
Violet/Purple: during the seasons of Advent and Lent; and
usually for Masses for the Dead.
